Brandon Scott Rosecrans

Brandon was 27 years old at the time of his death.

Brandon joined the Army in May of 2018 and was assigned to the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division stationed at Fort Hood.

He had been with a 28 year old guy named Brandon Olivares. They’d been together that day.

According to a witness, who has now been arrested, the two had been arguing over the price of a gun.

Rosecrans had told Olivares he wasn’t willing to pay the price he was asking. I don’t know if maybe it wasn’t worth the price he was asking, which is probably the case, but Olivares didn’t like that answer.

The witness that has been arrested for involvement in the case is named Estrellita Falcon. And if it wasn’t for her, Rosecrans may still be alive because she basically egged it all on. She told Olivares he was a “punk” for being hesitant in MURDERING SOMEONE. It should be normal for someone to question their life choices when it comes to taking someone’s life, especially over something so stupid. You know she made him feel less than a man so he decided “I’ll show you” and freaking shot the poor guy.

We only know this information because she told a friend this.

What do we know about our two suspects? These two are really, really great people...... jk. I don’t know why Brandon was hanging out with these people, but either way.. He didn’t deserve to die. So Olivares was actually just recently in prison, was released in December of 2019, and on parole. He has a record of felony drug and left charges as well as assault and theft misdemeanor charges. So I’m guessing adding murder to his list wasn’t a big deal to him. His 37 year old girlfriend, Falcon, also has a record, but they weren’t specific. It lumped them together with home burglary and forgery. But she’s clearly a prize.

While police were investigating, they were actually able to take him in and charge him with a parole violation. I’m assuming it was probably because of him having a weapon with a felony record.

So how did they do it? Olivares waited until Rosecrans was asleep in his Jeep Renegade. Why he was sleeping in it, I don’t know, but when he fell asleep in the passenger seat, Olivares shot him in the left side of his head and neck four times. They then dumped his body in a ditch in Harker Heights then drove 3 miles from the dump site to burn his Jeep Renegade. Rosecrans was also missing his wallet and keys when his body was discovered. They found his body around 10:16am and within 15 minutes, a neighbor will call about the Jeep being on fire. The Fire Department quickly put the fire out, and what they found? A bullet hole in the back of the passenger side door.

Evidence shows that whenever he shot Rosecrans, he was very close range to him, and according to cell phone GPS records, Falcon was with them at this time as well. This is where she indicates that Olivares is a punk for hesitating to kill him. Well, if you wanna go that route, Falcon, you both are a bunch of punks for killing him in the first place for A. not getting your way and B. not allowing him a chance to defend himself and killing him in his sleep. Wow, you two sure are a couple of badasses. Phew, I tell ya.

It’s also not surprising that while police are questioning him, he’s going to tell multiple different stories.

He’s also going to try to blame someone else for the shooting, but with the evidence and GPS coordinates they have, police know this is a lie.

His GPS coordinates indicate he was with Rosecrans all day and was also at the site of the body dumping and burning of the Jeep.

I would like to point out here that it still to this day amazes me how many criminals incriminate themselves with their cell phone data. I feel like every time I do research on a case, it’s always pointing out “cell phone GPS” because these people are thankfully stupid.

Anyways, so where did these two go wrong? Besides killing him and leaving cell phone data everywhere, these two were captured on security cameras going into the area where his body was dumped at 7:16am and seen leaving 6 minutes later at 7:22am. Then, Falcon, was caught on camera driving the Jeep to the burn at 10:17am.

Then, there’s the tragic mistake of going to your friend’s house and confessing to your sins. These are the same people that Olivares will try to pin the murder on. What an idiot. Because these two? Oh, they’ve got a story for the police.

Olivares will go on to tell the male friend that Rosecrans was “too greedy” because he didn’t want to pay the full price of the gun that I’m sure was probably overpriced and that he tried to rape his girlfriend... which I doubted to begin with, but she will admit that this is not true.

Then Falcon split off with the male friend’s girlfriend to also confess their sins. The couple had said that they appeared nervous when they arrived so I guess they just decided if they get all of this off their chest then they’ll be fine.

Falcon told her the same story about Rosecrans not wanting to pay for the gun and Olivares decided to show off and make an example out of Rosecrans, but he couldn’t do it until Rosecrans was asleep because he was too scared............. but yet he wanted to show off???? What you did was super cowardly so... no snaps for you Olivares.

So then police are conducting more searches, and they found a burned Jeep key in Oliveras and Falcon’s firepit. How intelligent of you to hide key evidence in your firepit? Pun slightly intended. But really? Like how dumb do you have to be?

At this moment, Olivares is being held on a million dollar bail for murdering Rosecrans and Falcon is being held on a $100,000 bail, which I find to be ridiculous, she’s just as complicit and should be charged with at least conspiracy to commit murder since she was the one who pushed Olivares to do it... but at the moment, all she is charged with is:

  • Unauthorized use of a vehicle

  • Hindering the apprehension and prosecution of Olivares

Hopefully, Rosecrans will get the justice he deserves for his incredibly petty murder.

Remember to know who you friends are and to not surround yourself with trash people like these two. They were clearly not his friends and it makes me really sad he had to lose his life because of it.
